
On April 8, 2026, a Supplementary Agreement to the Investment Agreement dated December 12, 2019, was signed at the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan. The agreement was concluded between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Avesto Group LLC, and Artel Engineering and Management LLC of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the construction and operation of the Artel Avesto Electronics household appliance manufacturing plant in Dushanbe.
The project is being implemented in three phases.
During the first phase, launched in 2019, the plant’s production capacity reached 70,000 household appliances per year. In the second phase, implemented in 2021, production of 60,000 washing machines and 10,000 televisions was established, increasing the total production capacity to 140,000 units annually.
The third phase of the project covers the period from 2026 to 2028 and envisages the expansion of refrigerator production to 100,000 units, the launch of air conditioner production with a capacity of up to 50,000 units, and the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Dushanbe.

As a result, the plant’s total annual production capacity will increase to 300,000 units.
The project will contribute to the creation of new jobs, the development of domestic manufacturing, the localization of production processes, increased state budget revenues, and the efficient use of local raw materials. It will also lay the foundation for the development of value chains and support the country’s accelerated industrialization.
