On August 28, in Dushanbe, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, together with the Speaker of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe, esteemed Rustami Emomali, inaugurated the slaughterhouse of the agro-industrial complex LLC “Marmari.”

The slaughterhouse, built on a 1.7-hectare area, consists of administrative and production buildings and modern auxiliary facilities. The engineering infrastructure of the slaughterhouse adheres to all sanitary and epidemiological requirements, including drinking and technical water supply lines, power transmission, sewerage, and drainage systems.

The production building includes areas for receiving birds, slaughtering and plucking, washing and cooling poultry meat, cutting and packaging birds, special cold storage rooms for freezing meat, and warehouses for storing products at temperatures as low as -18 degrees Celsius. It should be noted that the slaughtering process follows the “halal” method.

The slaughtering equipment, purchased from European and Chinese companies with a prominent position in the global market, is made of special steel used in the food industry. A special laboratory has been established to ensure product quality, monitoring various aspects such as quality, types, sizes, and other necessary parameters during the slaughtering and production processes.

At the final stage of production, the finished products are stored in special cold storage rooms. For the first time, a spiral deep freezer, currently unparalleled in the country, has been installed at the slaughterhouse. The freezer operates at -40 degrees Celsius and can cool poultry parts to -18 degrees Celsius with a capacity of 3000 kilograms per hour. The refrigeration equipment was purchased from the leading Chinese company “CBFI”.

To maintain the quality and nutritional properties of poultry meat, the equipment allows for rapid freezing. The advantage of this equipment is its fully automated operation. After the production process is completed, the finished products are stored in two cold storage rooms with an internal temperature of -18 degrees Celsius until they are ready for sale.

The slaughterhouse has three cold storage rooms with capacities of 10, 150, and 300 tons, respectively. These facilities ensure long-term storage of the products according to standards. The systematic operation of the slaughterhouse uses over 15 pieces of special equipment and machinery, making the work of the employees easier.

The total investment in the construction of the slaughterhouse is 51 million somoni, and 100 new jobs have been created at the facility. Workers are provided with decent working conditions, competitive salaries, a canteen, work clothes, and a rest area.

Alongside the construction of the plant, measures have been taken by the management to beautify and green the surroundings and the internal territory of the facility, planting evergreen and decorative trees.

The activities of the LLC “Marmari” poultry agro-industrial complex are a continuation of the company’s production and sales chain, aligning with the strategic goals of the Government, especially in providing the population with quality food products and accelerating the country’s industrialization.

This measure enriches the capital’s consumer market with environmentally friendly dietary meat products. With the construction of the LLC “Marmari” poultry agro-industrial complex in the Danghara district and Dushanbe, 270 people have been provided with permanent jobs.

After familiarizing himself with the company’s activities, the President, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe and the patriotic entrepreneurs for creating such a modern enterprise, supporting the Government’s constructive initiatives, and organizing new jobs.
