On December 16, 2020, in the Shokhmansur district of Dushanbe, with the participation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, respected Rustami Emomali, the Limited Liability Company “Dushanbe Flour Mill” was put into operation. “Dushanbe Flour Mill” LLC was forced to suspend its activities due to the obsolescence and dilapidation of production lines over the past 30 years. On the initiative and with the support of the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, respected Rustami Emomali, in order to develop the industry and increase the production of high-quality products by domestic entrepreneurs, the plant was completely restored and renovated for more than 50 million somoni. All the buildings of the plant have been repaired using excellent quality construction materials, involving local builders and taking into account modern design, and the modernization of the enterprise will now actively contribute to the supply of flour to the domestic market and strengthen domestic production. The total area of the “Dushanbe Flour Mill” is 4 hectares, and the construction, reconstruction and modernization of existing buildings will make it possible to purchase and install new production lines from leading European companies and “COFCO Engineering and Management” (People’s Republic of China) in a short time.
During the familiarization, the Head of State, respected Emomali Rahmon, was informed that at present the production line installed here is unique and has no analogues throughout Central Asia, is recognized as the most modern in terms of technology and technical features. The connected technology performs its activities automatically, as a result of which less labor is used in the production process. With the commissioning of “Dushanbe Flour Mill”, a total of 100 local specialists were provided with workplaces and a good salary. This plant processes 400 tons of wheat per day and produces more than 10 types of flour under the names “Maysa”, “Khusha”, “Sunbula” and “Sufra”, from which the production of ground wheat, pasta and confectionery products has been established. The plant’s products are packaged in different volumes in accordance with the requirements of the world market and are offered to customers. The Head of State, respected Emomali Rahmon, was informed that in order to provide the domestic market with domestic products, several new workshops will be put into operation at the plant in the foreseeable future. These initiatives include the construction of workshops for the production of pasta and bakery products. Also, taking into account the demand, a workshop for the production of dietary products from bran will be built. It will also produce feed for birds, fish and pets. In the coming days, the company stores of “Dushanbe Flour Mill” will be opened in Dushanbe. The planned activity of the plant can play a significant role in the direction of flour production for residents of the capital of the country and the normalization of the cost of products at all times of the year, as well as its preparation as a basic necessity product. In the future, the plant will increase production volumes and the number of workplaces with the introduction of new capacities. According to the responsible persons of the plant, as the needs of the residents of the city of Dushanbe are met in flour, which is more than 400 tons of flour per day, in the future the products will be exported to other countries of the region. The plant has a warehouse for storing 32 thousand tons of wheat, a warehouse with an area of 5 thousand square meters for storing 3.6 thousand tons of flour and a warehouse for storing bran and crushed wheat.
And the railway line passes through the enterprise, which reduces the cost of transporting products many times. In order to deliver products to points of sale and shopping centers, 10 units of modern cargo vehicles of various sizes were purchased. A laboratory with modern equipment has been created at “Dushanbe Flour Mill” to determine the quality of imported wheat and manufactured products, which lays the foundation for the supply of high-quality products. During the conversation with the workers and specialists of “Dushanbe Flour Mill” LLC, the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, stressed that in the process of implementing the fourth strategic goal – accelerated industrialization of the country, the contribution of domestic entrepreneurs is very noticeable, it allows laying a real foundation for increasing domestic products and providing residents with workplaces and a good salary. The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan provides large benefits to domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and investors in the direction of creating new industrial enterprises and introducing modern production technologies. Thanks to this, in recent years, hundreds of new industrial enterprises have been put into operation in the capital of the country – the city of Dushanbe, along with the construction and reconstruction of educational, health and cultural facilities, which laid a favorable foundation for providing the domestic market with domestic products and creating new jobs. According to the leadership of the Executive Body of the state Power of the city of Dushanbe, about 70 new industrial enterprises will be put into operation in the capital of the country before the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
