The joint Tajik-Uzbek enterprise for the production of household appliances “Artel Avesto Electronics” opened yesterday, on September 29 in Dushanbe.
The opening ceremony of the enterprise was attended by the Speaker of the Majlisi Milli, the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, the Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Kohir Rasulzoda and Abdulla Aripov.
The production line, which includes 43 items of equipment and 129 sets of goods and raw materials, is imported mainly from Uzbekistan, Russia, South Korea and China.
As part of the agreement of commercial partners, the production process is selected in two stages, at the first stage two types of vacuum cleaners and four types of water heaters are produced, at the second stage televisions and sewing machines are produced.
