The Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Mayor of Dushanbe, respected Rustam Emomali, inaugurated the Limited Liability Company “Composite T. A.” in Dushanbe.

The establishment of the enterprise was carried out within the wise policy of the respected Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, to achieve the country’s highest strategic goals, including accelerated industrialization.

We remind, on September 17, 2019, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, and the Mayor of Dushanbe, respected Rustam Emomali, laid the foundation stone in the Chorteppa Mahalla of Sino district, officially launching the construction of the fiberglass pipe production enterprise “Composite T. A.”.

At the enterprise, more than 150 people are provided with permanent jobs, which annually will be busy to produce up to 150 kilometers of pipes of various diameters ranging from 300 to 3000 millimeters. The production of fiberglass pipes will be established for the first time in the country.

The company’s products are import-substituting and it will also be exported, contributing to the country’s needs. It should be underlined that the Limited Liability Company “Composite T. A.” is a joint venture established in collaboration with one of the leading Azerbaijani companies – “Azkompozit.”  In the near future, the company’s management intends to train local specialists to ensure high-quality production that meets international standards.

Analysis shows that using fiberglass pipes domestically is economically advantageous. These pipes, regardless of length or size, are very lightweight, making their installation and use simple. Additionally, fiberglass pipes are resistant to high pressure and temperature. The production of pipes primarily involves materials such as quartz sand, glass fiber, and pitch. There are many deposits of quartz sand, with plans to expand the use of this resource inside Tajikistan.  Other raw materials are imported until an internal source is found.

After the inauguration of the facility, the respected Head of the State Emomali Rahmon and the Mayor of Dushanbe, the respected Rustam Emomali, participated in the presentation of buses.  Intercity buses “Akia Oriyo” is produced by the joint venture “Akia Avesto Automative Industry” of the Republic of Tajikistan.

From 2020, the joint venture “Akia Avesto Automative Industry,” upon the order of the Executive Authority of Dushanbe, has started the production of intercity buses for the first time under the Tajik name “Akia Oriyo”.

The Limited Liability Company “Akia Avesto Automative Industry” started its operations as a Tajik-Turkish joint venture in January 2018, producing modern “Akia” buses and contributing to the country’s accelerated industrialization.

Presently, the joint venture continues the serial production of buses ranging from 8 to 12 meters in length, as well as engages in the assembly and design of double-decker buses, intercity buses, buses running on natural gas, electric buses, and electric trolleybuses. The joint venture has also introduced a new experimental electric trolleybus equipped with new equipment and technologies, complying with international standards and capable of traveling up to 40 kilometers without connecting to the power line, utilizing stored electrical energy.

In addition, the vehicles have been designed with modern standards for both exterior and interior to ensure passenger comfort during travel. Furthermore, the company has released a new experimental electric bus with a contemporary design featuring a fully electric engine, capable of traveling up to 200 kilometers using electric power, making it environmentally friendly.

Besides, considering the export of domestic goods to needy countries, a natural gas-powered bus was designed and manufactured in collaboration with a joint venture. Alongside, the objectives outlined in the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Dushanbe until 2025, the goals in environmental protection and creating favorable conditions for passenger transportation are being gradually achieved through the acquisition of new modern buses and electric buses that meet present-day requirements. The activities of this joint venture are directed towards achieving this goal.

The factory has a production capacity of up to 300 vehicles per year, and the number of local employees has reached 150. Training local experts in the timely production and collection of buses for delivery to the municipal enterprises of Dushanbe has enabled the seamless operations of this process.

For the past 3 years, the number of locally produced buses delivered on the capital’s routes has been increasing, thereby providing transportation services to the residents and guests of the capital.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, tasked the personnel to make good use responsible individuals after systematically reviewing the modern service and transportation conditions for passengers through new vehicles utilizing the existing capabilities and capacities in this direction, and commencing the export of buses produced by the Limited Liability Company “Akiya Avesto Automotive Industry”.
